CALGARY, Alberta – April 16, 2026 – WeMaple has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Source GeoGlobal LLC dba Source Geothermal, a U.S. based geothermal energy company pioneering accessible and scalable clean energy solutions to produce a compelling short documentary film as a part of WeMaple Special Presentation Part I.
The intention behind this LOI is to deepen the partnership between WeMapleand Source Geothermal and to cultivate storytelling opportunities. WeMaple will collaborate closely with Source Geothermal to develop a 10-minute short film and narrative surrounding its groundbreaking work in various international markets proving that the clean energy transition can start right beneath our feet.
WeMaple started as a grassroots effort to celebrate amazing achievements of Canadians for the country’s 150th anniversary in 2017 through creative visual narratives. Since then, the WeMaple series has expanded to focus on stories of innovation, excellence, and perseverance across the nation. The next WeMaple series illuminates the true potential of collaborative intelligence and the power of global experts and energy innovation to lead the world toward a cleaner, more resilient future.
